How long has it been since we spent the nights together watching the aurora of a world that never existed?

Back then you took my hand and we walked through the dark forests that led us beyond the hill, toward the sea that shimmered in silver flashes on a night without moon or stars. A wind blew from nowhere, tossing our hair as we together watched the sunrise.

How many years did we share our travels through the lands of dreams, where our souls shared joy and happiness, relieving the loneliness of a dying world.

The morning always came and the parting was imminent, yet you always smiled because both of us knew that soon the moon would allow us to see each other again and share another evening together.

Everything was like that until the day I dishonored your name, broke your love in a moment of stupidity from which I have regretted all this time.

On that day you ran away, leaving me, taking with you all my illusion, and I, ashamed and cowardly, did not run to find you to ask for forgiveness.

Today I remember you again and desire that you return to my dreams, desire to see your eyes again where the glow of dawn sparkled with the joy of love, desire to feel your warm hands tracing my cheek, desire to return and kiss your delicate lips where always pieces of my soul remained.

Today I want to ask you to return to my dreams, to let me hear that beautiful voice that faded into oblivion each morning. I ask you to return to my mind and let me touch your white skin that trembled with every caress. I ask you to forgive me and let me feel again your golden hair sliding between my fingers. I ask you to return, beautiful princess, and with your image to light up again my dreams and hopes.

Today I remembered your figure again, and remembered again that my only desire in this life is to know you and to be able to say your name.

Return, my beautiful princess, return to my dreams and to my heart.
