Where do the summer leaves go when the wind violently tears them from their home?
Where do dreams go when the dreamer wakes up and realizes he is still in reality?
Where does love go when a promise is broken and pain floods the heart?
I don’t know… I only know that love has gone and that it will never return… I only know that the pain in my chest is too much for it… that it will flee to reach every part of my being, seeking to exterminate everything that was once love, turning it into pain and sorrow.
Perhaps it is the Apocalypse of my heart… Perhaps it is the final judgment of my feelings or perhaps, just perhaps, it is the end of my own existence.
Because I am a leaf battered by the wind, because I am a dreamer without dreams, because I am a man with a heart in agony.
Loneliness floods my senses and tears gather, fighting to come out. But they won’t. These tiny drops will die with me in loneliness. The crying will not cease; it will continue to scream inside me, eating away at my entrails as it seeks a way out.
Perhaps in this way I will find my heart, devour it completely, destroy it without mercy until not a single piece of it remains.
Perhaps in this way this heart that hurts me so much will die… perhaps in this way I will die with it.
