"body": "Walk through the streets of the big city without any particular direction.

People pass by me quickly without stopping, without greeting, without giving me anything but a hostile look or an insult for someone who doesn't walk at the speed of the city's regular inhabitants.

For a moment I stop on a bridge and watch the cars pass under my feet. All of them have a place to go, something to do, something to say. I usually am like that, but right now there's nothing that interests me to do, nothing that interests me to say, nothing that interests me to see.

The only thing I desire at this moment is the peace of her company and the sweetness of her gaze.

However, I find myself here, standing on high, watching people pass by.

An old woman approaches me to show me a beautiful bouquet of roses she carries between her arms.

She tries to show me her beauty and says some words to encourage me to buy a rose.

One of those flowers catches my attention. Its delicate petals barely open and separate from the soft bud that begins to open to the world. The round outlines of the red wings smile at the beauty of her being and tiny drops of water caress the outlines of the beautiful flower.

Under that beauty, green leaves are withering every instant and the brutally torn thorns bleed silently and its stem ends in a painful cut through which little by little the life of the small flower escapes.

Amazed by the beauty of that rose I smile and step closer to her to enjoy the soft fragrance that she emits from every part of herself. I let her fragrance completely surround me, letting it for a moment enter me and comfort my spirit.

Maybe she would like to have this flower. Maybe she would like to contemplate its beauty and smile at its enchanting perfume. Maybe I could buy this flower and carefully bring it before her presence, hoping to see her eyes once more.

But the truth is that I've lost her forever. She can no longer accept my flowers or my words of love. Her kisses now belong to someone else, and I couldn't do anything to prevent it.

With tears in my chest I buy that delicate flower and hold it for a moment in my hands.

I can see her smile through the petals. I can see the shine of the sun reflected in the drops of dew. I can see the flower scream as it falls to the avenue and a car finally ends its beauty.

The old woman is in silence because she doesn't understand what has happened.

I make an effort to smile at her and continue walking without any place to go.

\n\n
\n\n\n\n
\n"
