"IMPROVISADO"

A piece of paper is carried by the wind...

Here are my sorrows, hatred, and love, hoping that happiness will invade my soul again...

They are written on that white note, etched with barely visible pencil marks and uncertain strokes, for my hand still trembles when I remember how you pronounced that word with immense joy, that word I do not want to remember now, for that would make me fall again into the dark abyss...

But sometimes it's so difficult not to think, so hard not to remember when every breeze of the wind carries your scent, when every written paper carries your name… and when the full moon still shows that brilliant gleam, as when we used to look at it every night, hand in hand, walking barefoot over the grass until we reached the lake where we used to sit and watch that beautiful silver reflection on the water.

Where the great trees and the beautiful tinkling of the stars were witnesses to the happiness and love we shared with each other...

But beautiful memories fade and give way to torment, tears flow again when I remember your lips moving as you pronounced that word I so feared during our long evenings.

Sometimes I think that everything was just a dream, since I still can't believe you have forgotten all the moments we lived through, all those promises, those that that individual erased from your thoughts....

But sometimes what I don't believe is that those bitter memories are erasing the beautiful moments we spent together, because they are unforgettable, radiating all the love we felt, since it was pure love, that love which was enough with just a glance to express what was in the deepest part of my soul...

The wind carries the paper leaf. There go my sorrows, hatred and love, waiting for happiness to invade my soul again...
