The rain falls incessantly after the window. The drops rush quickly to find their end among what remains of all those that preceded them.

The water accumulates and forms small rivers that follow their path, gathering along the way all those sisters of theirs that have the grace of joining the task of embarking on the long journey that will take them back to the sea once again.

The raindrops fall and crash against the window glass, becoming solitary, prevented from reaching the destination that, in a way, they longed for.

Some drops remain still, lamenting their fate. Others even more do not accept what has happened and frenetically search for a path that will take them to the longed-for evil that they so much desired.

These small pearls of crystal slide down the smooth surface, leaving behind tiny pieces of their own soul that gradually finish them off. If they are lucky, they will meet another drop that also desires to travel to the unknown. Then both drops will unite and give strength to each other without ever separating.

Perhaps they will be lucky and find a small crack that will direct them toward where others have already begun the journey back home. Perhaps the transparent tears of the sky have fallen in the highest part of the glass and the pieces they leave behind will eventually extinguish them.

It is raining after the window and I can't stop looking at the raindrops falling. The smell of the rain makes me remember the scent of his hair. I can remember his touches, his kisses, the joy of his gaze and the melody of his voice. I can remember the warmth of his soul and the happiness his smile used to cause me.

It is raining after the window, but it is also raining in my heart.
